Somerset FA Celebrates International Women's Day with Female-Only CPD Event

Join Somerset FA in celebrating International Women's Day with a fantastic opportunity for female coaches! We're hosting a Female Only Networking CPD Event on Saturday March 8th, from 9:30am to 12:00pm at Fry's Club FC, BS31 2FF.

This event offers a unique chance to connect with fellow female coaches, enhance your skills, and gain valuable insights.

What to Expect?

Sarah Lawler-Edwards will be leading a practical session focused on coaching U13s/U14s players (ages 12-15). The session will incorporate:

• Discover my Talent (10-15 mins): Identifying future Lioness characteristics.
• On-Pitch Session: Practical application and observation of these characteristics in action.

Caroline White and Avril Cooke will deliver a mini Equal Game workshop.

This is a valuable opportunity to network, learn from experienced coaches, and contribute to the growth of women's football in Somerset.
