Sin Bins will still only be effective for cautions issued for dissent and will again result in a 10 minute in adult football or 8 minutes where the game time is less than 90 minutes, temporary dismissal or as it is commonly known, in the sin bin, after which the player can return.
Sin Bin Changes for 2024-25 season (effective as 1st July 2024)
- If a player gets a second yellow card after an initial one for a sin bin they are issued a red card and sent off as with the case for any other second yellow card offence. (Whereas last season there were scenarios where a player could get a second caution and not be sent off, this has now ended. A sin bin yellow is exactly the same as any other yellow card)
- Any sin bin caution will incur the same £12 admin fee like any other booking
