Somerset’s U18 Youth team head off to Cornwall on Saturday 21st October to commence their 2017/18 South & West Counties Championship campaign to defend the title won back in April.

The match will be played at Saltash FC with a 2.00 pm kick-off.

After being narrowly defeated in the FA County Youth Cup against Northamptonshire earlier this month, Manager Graham Clarke, will be looking to build on last season’s success. 

He told www.somersetfa.com “The encounter against the Cornish lads last year was a very tight affair with Somerset triumphing by the game’s solitary goal. I am expecting them to provide similarly tough opposition this time round and it will be a good test as to what we can expect this season.”
