Somerset take on Devon
With Somerset’s first game in this season’s South & West Counties Championship against Cornwall being called off through high winds back in October, the U18 Youth team now begin their title defence on Tuesday 21st November. They head down the M5 to Newton Abbot to take on their Devon counterparts at the County’s Coach Road headquarters with a 7.30 pm kick-off.
Obviously, Manager, Graham Clark, is keen to get off to a good start to build on last season’s success. He told www.somersetfa.com “It was a pity that the Cornwall match was lost to the weather because it would have been a good test for us and would have set a marker for the season.”
“Nevertheless, we always have good games against Devon and I am looking forward to the fixture and securing the points, to get us up and running for the season,” he concluded.
