The Insight Project included key points surrounding coaching and coach education; its accessibility and affordability. These suggestions have been actions accordingly as shown within the Charter Standard Club criteria changes. 62% of those who took part in the insight project agreed that Charter Standard Community and Development Clubs should require enhanced coaching qualifications. Following this, 61% of club officials think that Charter Standard Clubs should have a greater number of Level 1 and Youth Award Module 1 coaches.
The FA will be investing £10million overall to support the development of coaches, increasing the number of FA tutors and bursary opportunities for Youth Award Module 1,2 and 3 and Level 2 coaching awards. More information on our coaching bursaries can be found here.
