He is, outside of football, seeking to develop new business interests and we wish him well in this venture. The Referees Committee wishes to place on record our sincere thanks to Richard for the work that he has undertaken in this post with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Richard has been in the post for over six years and during that time has brought to the refereeing team a wealth of knowledge and experience from the many positions that he has held. The Referees Committee are grateful to have had this expertise which Richard has imparted to referees in Somerset, many of whom have benefited as a result. Richard is well respected within the refereeing fraternity, both in Somerset and beyond and it is pleasing that he will be continuing to provide assistance to referees in the County as a tutor and as a coach so he will not be totally lost to Somerset FA referees in the future.
